Your Favorite (or not) Gun Shop. Let’s Hear It!

Alexander's Store in Blairsville. I've purchased many firearms from them since 1978. You find a better deal on occasion but 95% of the time you can't find a better deal anywhere in GA.

The in-laws live up that way and are always talking about the deals at Alexander’s. Was wondering if it was going to get a mention.

Usually try to stop by the CG&P tables at gun shows. Good folks. Got some good deals and gunsmith help at Bullseye, but sometimes the employees are so busy bs-ing among themselves I just walk out.

Can’t say too many bad things about the prices at Bullseye but I have walked in, looked for a while and then walked out without ever even being acknowledged so I can relate to that.

When I lived in GA Perry Pawn was a good one. Went past Bo Barrow's a few times, but never went in. Chuck's? I avoided like the plague. Arrogant know it alls in there and like PalmettoMoon said; some of the guns have been in there since the Bush presidency. Bush #1 that is. Their prices were often so ridiculous I left either laughing my way out the front door or angry.

Most of my go-to's have already been mentioned, but I'll repeat. Cherokee Gun and Pawn, Appalachian Gun, Dawsonville Gun, and Alexander's, in no certain order. I have found great deals at all of them.

Alexander's carries everything you can think of for the entire family. We go there and my wife heads one way and I head to the gun dept.

I will stop by Big Woods a few times every year to see what they have. We were range members for years; they do have a very nice range. They had a huge turnover a few years ago and lost some of the good guys.
