My first gun was a blued Ruger Single Six Convertible with both cylinders. Came in the bright yellow and red Ruger box. Got it for Christmas when I was 10 or 11. I wanted a go kart but my folks said "We live in town. What could you possibly do with a go kart? " Year after that I got a 10/22 that I could hang on my 3 gun rack in my room and look at. Cause we lived in town.

Ruger 10/22 that I bought at Sears in 1978... as soon as I could get my Mass. "Firearms ID" card. I want to say I paid $60 or so for it, but could be wrong.

This .22 Magnum rifle is the first gun I had access to, my father bought it the same year I was born. The first gun that I bought for myself was a Bushmaster Arm pistol... I traded it away for an engine rebuild.

Will have to get it out and get pics, but a beloved old Winchester 67A. I don't know how many rounds I sent downrange through that old single shot.
