Okay I wrapped up this burnished 10/22 stock this morning I'm just wondering if it's something that catches your eye and hold your interest if you like burnished stocks

savannahboy savannahboy I refinish stocks I'm not doing this for my taste I'm doing for somebody else's about once a year I get request for doing burnish and it will typically have a drawing scribbled with some Crayon colors and then an idea behind it. It is your opinion on the quality of work that I'm looking for it and if it looks to balance

Not normally a fan of the burnished look, but that one’s great looking.
Thank you very much for your opinion it means a lot to me and I understand some people just don't like what they just don't like. Think of what a horrible world it would be if all of us shot Glock

I like it, bet it will look awesome once you get it put back together

I got bored with one, stripped the stock, added a foreend and recarved the pistol grip to make it smaller for my kids

Very nice work. I've got a carving machine as well but for what I do it just isn't profitable. I will refinish a few stock make a couple of bucks but the best part is I gained a couple more friends...
