Deet unless I'm hunting. I hate repellents for hunting, so I'll use a bug suit instead.

Thermocell for hunting. Off active spray for anything else. I can break a sweat stretching so I need something that will stay with me

I've used both earth scent and regular, haven't been busted in 2 seasons till after a deer is shot and other deer are around

Same here. The permethrin hasn’t appeared to have hurt my hunting at all. I personally don’t care if it ever does cost me a deer or two now and then. I had Lyme Disease a few years ago. To make things worse I’m allergic to the top three antibiotics recommended to combat the disease. The long term effects suck and it’s an extremely miserable experience altogether. I do not want to ever experience that again!
I would also hate to have to give up eating mammalian meat if I ever were infected by a Lone Star tick.

I used to buy Permanon by the case, but can't find it..And I use the the Thermacell in the stand..
