Your preferred repellents for camping, hunting & fishing ?

Same here. The permethrin hasn’t appeared to have hurt my hunting at all. I personally don’t care if it ever does cost me a deer or two now and then. I had Lyme Disease a few years ago. To make things worse I’m allergic to the top three antibiotics recommended to combat the disease. The long term effects suck and it’s an extremely miserable experience altogether. I do not want to ever experience that again!
I would also hate to have to give up eating mammalian meat if I ever were infected by a Lone Star tick.
A lady I renovate properties for got bit by a Lonestar and is now highly allergic to pork & beef..

She still eats chicken an turkey though.

I must admit that I'd be ticked off if I had to give up sausage ,bacon & stricolean :-(

My sister has the same issue from tick bite

Isn’t this for clothing only? I have some , treat shirts , pants , socks and then let dry last a while

I put on all outer clothing, gear, tarp, and on clothing that will touch my skin (but this I launder at least once). I also mix a little into the beeswax I treat all my leather with like hat, boots and belt.
