If it's got a bed and hauls stuff, it's a truck. I even call some of the SUVs trucks. I do prefer a full frame

Depends. Does it have a full size spare accessible when the bed is full? If so it’s a truck.

I had to work out of a gen1 ridgeline for 1 day. I got a flat. It has a donut spare in a hatch in the bed floor. Yes that means you have to unload the bed on the side of i20 to get to the donut spare. That’s not a truck that’s a car with a bed.
