Zev Pro Compensator install problem (don't laugh)

Working on “installing” this compensator and something isn’t lining up...

Here’s timing as the compensator is fully tightened onto the barrel:

When I back it off to proper timing, torquing the set screw to spec still leaves the compensator spinning freely:

I’m worried about either stripping these aluminum threads, or applying loctite (specified not to be required) and still having a loose comp.

**** me, this shouldn’t be complicated.
 
Every aluminum glock comp that I have seen works its way loose eventually, but yours is starting out loose. Send it back.

If you decide to keep one on the gun, you might consider using a thread locking compond.
