IMO: The prosecutor is not making a very good closing arguement. He is acting more like a defense attorney for the state instead of a prosecutor. He acts like he is trying to place doubt in the jurors mind instead of prooving guilt without any doubts. Also, when he, himself, discredited Rachel Jeantel and her testimony was in poor judgement.

He's doing the best he can given the circumstances. He probably believes Zimmerman is innocent too. Picture yourself trying to argue in favor of gun control and see if that helps you understand how he likely feels.
