I grew up in San Antonio and remember seeing them before they were famous. I forgot they took a buffalo on tour!
Watched it last night. I especially liked when they would cut to the three of them playing in that warehouse. Just three guys that love to play music. No bickering, no egos, just great musicianship.
Frank Beard: I remember the first big check I got, it was for $72,000
Interviewer: What did you do with it?
Frank Beard: (quietly and deadpan, stares at the camera) I spent it on drugs.

They were on a cameo on 2 and a half men last week. Charlie and Berta got high on weed and Charlie kept seeing them in his house.
Great show. Saw them twice in the good old days, just don't remember much from the haze.
I watched it on Saturday. It was pretty good. I dig their Texas Pride thing. I wasn't big on the animated parts but it didn't hurt the story so I guess it worked. BTW they're playing the Macon Auditorium pretty soon. I'd like to take my youngest to see them but it's like $65.00 a ticket and it's in Macon.
