  1. Building AR lower....confused.

The tube has extra material before the start of the first thread. I had to remove about .018" of material. It fits nice and snug now. I just wrapped some 150 grit around a piece of wood and twisted it back and forth like a bottle cap. Wasn't very fast but it did work.
  2. Building AR lower....confused.

That is correct. The only thing I have thought of would be to put the threaded end against some sand paper and twist back and forth....over and over until enough material comes off to make it fit. I need to measure how much I need to accommodate for.
  3. Building AR lower....confused.

Its Palmetto State Armory pistol tube which is supposed to be the same as the Rock River, from what I hear.
  4. Building AR lower....confused.

Crisis averted, a few strokes with a file and it's fitting right...but the buffer tube is threading in and hitting the buffer retainer before bottoming out on the end plate. The is the PSA pistol buffer and it has no castle but. Are there some shims or washers out there for this?
  5. Building AR lower....confused.

Its a lot closer than I thought I just need some sandpaper. The lower is founding fathers armory.
  6. Building AR lower....confused.

This is driving me crazy. I am putting together a billet lower, using a PSA pistol lower build kit. The buffer tube end plate looks like this... But the back of the reciever has a round hole that this "stadium" shaped bump will not fit into. I spent an hour dicking with this last...
