    After FURTHER research, I do see the lock key hole above the thumb latch, so this is definitely a -6. So, now I have learned something about this gun I would otherwise not have known!

    Hi, after some research, and I may be incorrect on this, the -6 was when the internal lock was introduced. If this is a fact, this gun must be a-5 because there is no internal lock. If this is not correct let me know and I'll further research the issue when I get hands on. Thanks!

    Thanks! It's a great gun. I'm a .45ACP guy mostly, but I'm trying to get a 9mm compact. My son has my Browning Hi-Power and I'm missing having a 9mm.
