  1. I guess to be expected

"a gunshot wound in the parking lot". I'm not hip to the latest street jive, but that sounds like a painful place to get shot ?
  2. For you "Dark Side of the Moon" fans

Pulse tour, Earls Court, London, 94 - night to remember.
  3. Bad engine

As suggested, inspecting to find the cause is really the first step. ID which cylinder, pull the valve cover and inspect, stick a bore scope in and see if that reveals anything in the cylinder, piston or head.
  4. CZ disappointment

From what I understand CZ USA receive batch shipments of of various products from Europe that tend to sell out quickly, they do service a worldwide market. Add that to the importer / distributor / consumer / Colt mix it's not a total surprise they're not the most responsive to individuals. Not...
  5. Pull or shot them

Did you try driving it out towards the breach or the muzzle?
  6. .22 hold over

I believe anything below 1100 fps is considered subsonic. I'd check your mount then work out in 10 yd increments to try and see what's going on. Zeroed at 25 generally gives a similar zero at 50, once you get out to 75 yds + bullet drop get's measured in inches :)
  7. Appliances dangit - worth fixing ?

In no rush to spend $ I don't have :) 2 repairs and $40 over 25 years so far ! If these bits fix it......
  8. I fixed that problem.

Just cut the wires and run jumpers round it.
  9. Appliances dangit - worth fixing ?

Thanks for the advice. I ran a cycle with it empty and all seems to work fine apart from no drum movement. Time isn't on my side, so I'll try to test power to the motor. Ordered a clutch and coupler for $20, don't expect quality for that price, but just to validate if one of them's the...
  10. Appliances dangit - worth fixing ?

I'll be dead, or dribbling in a wheelchair, by then, so I think something much cheaper and look at warranty options :) Tried running a cycle and everything functions apart from no drum movement at all. Thinking of just buying a clutch and coupler and hoping......
  11. Appliances dangit - worth fixing ?

JekyllTidesFisher3181 Should the drum rotate by hand when not running ? Mine's pretty solid right now.
  12. Appliances dangit - worth fixing ?

Mentions of the coupler or trans sound likely, also seen mention of a clutch unit..... Hopefully find out tomorrow if I can clear enough space to drag it out and lay it down ! I plan on repairing if I can.
  13. Appliances dangit - worth fixing ?

I've had a Whirlpool washer and dryer for 25 years. Only fix needed has been a door switch on the washer. Now the washer has stopped spin drying, the motor sounds like it's running and the rest of the cycle completed fine. Looking online there's almost too much information about potential fixes...
  14. yet another one

Can promoters be held liable for illegal transactions executed within their venue?
  15. Group Purchase Opportunity for a Community in Panama – Interest Check

Interesting idea, I'll be following how it develops. Do you have any estimates as to how many participants you're seeking and any idea of ballpark costs?
  16. Getting rid of majority of collection & ATF new rule

This thread should be locked immediately, there's far too much rational thought present.
  17. Keyword "RARE"

"Rare" - no one bought one back then, or they were rubbish and were quickly discarded.
  18. 18yo to buy a pistol? Riiiiiiight

Pretty lightweight compared to some of the outstanding misinformation that floats around :)
  19. Which of these is the least worthless junk scope ?

Concrete with a mud carpet, much warmer in winter.
  20. Which of these is the least worthless junk scope ?

The way I shoot that's purely optional, doesn't make much difference.
