  2. CZ disappointment

That's about right (crisp break, Sig without SRT reset, take up, etc.) The CZ trigger, at least the ones with a firing pin block, has some limitations to how much it can be improved. Go too far and the trigger won't reset.
  3. Ticket for sale -- (SOLD)

SOLD -- thanks I have an extra ticket for the 2024 ODT show. $10 by Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal F&F. I'll need your first and last name and email address to transfer the ticket. PM to purchase. Thanks.
  4. ODT Gun Show & Swap Meet - May 4, 2024 - Cobb County Civic Center

<sigh> You would be engaging in commerce with other private individuals, the vast majority of whom do not hold FFLs. As such, it's up to you and the other person to determine the rules of the sale, same as if you were buying/selling shovels, chairs, or whatever.
  5. School me on the Fn High Power 9mm (newer version)

I don't know about putting the new magazines in the BHP, but I doubt it would work. The cutout for the magazine catch looks different and the new High Power has a fatter grip, so the mag is likely fatter as well and might not fit the BHP.
  6. School me on the Fn High Power 9mm (newer version)

As a huge BHP fan, I think the new High Power is ridiculous. Zero parts compatibility with the BHP, not even the magazine. Totally different feel in the hand -- it loses the slim ergonomics that make the BHP fit so well. No optics cut, no rail. Well over $1000. There's just no place for...
  7. Smith and wesson prelock error gun possible

I think it looks like chrome, too. Probably not from the factory, but refinished somewhere along the line.
  8. Item Relisted! FS ULTIMATE BROWNING HIGH POWER

That's a great looking Hi Power. Who did the gunsmithing? The refinishing?
  9. New Gun Store in Warner Robins

They used to be on Watson with that sign, but I never stopped in. The location and the appearance of the building made it look like a lawyer's office/lobbying group or something. Thanks for the news.
  10. ID this gun please.

Perhaps the SIG Sauer P226 SL Sport II https://www.cybershooters.org/?page_id=133
  11. Gunsmith needed near Perry/Warner Robins

I've used Oakridge on Moody Rd for a few things. They've been good.
  12. Browning Hipower Information

Pretty! I think '50s production is right on account of the lettering, "thumb groove" on the slide, and internal extractor. The sights look like they have been changed, which probably makes them better but hurts collectability. Not sure if the nickel finish is original because the safety and...

  15. The SKS

Just put a scope on your modified dust cover and you're good to go. 😐
  16. Item Gone: FT Glock 48 MOS slide for trade

Just so you know, the 43 and 48 MOS are direct milled for the Shield RMSc pattern (no plates). Also, this is more properly listed in "Accessories."
  17. Culling The Herd: What would you get rid of.

Yeah, not really arguing with what you've said. It's just I've found it's easier to sell cheaper guns (more buyers), and I'd get a higher percentage of the value back (with some exceptions). But definitely, people with money are always around. Just a matter of connecting with the right person.
  18. Culling The Herd: What would you get rid of.

The problem with selling higher end guns is that they are luxury items. There just aren't that many people who can spend $1500 on a gun, and those who can, why would they spend it on yours?
  19. Culling The Herd: What would you get rid of.

Not if you're talking guns. Summer slumps are normal in the firearms business, but this is even lower than the normal slumps. 30-50% lower. It'll go crazy again in 6-12 months.
