Creepy find in a new house.

A friend of mine is in the process of buying her first house. When checking it out, she found a room built in the attic. It has plywood walls (thick ones), has been carefully sealed to the point of almost being airtight and has a dead bolt on the door...that has the hand latch to open it on the outside???!!!

I told her I would have a forensics team go over it before I would buy that house. What do you think?

But in the attic? And it's not very big, access to the attic is a set of pulldown stairs and there is no heating or cooling in the room.
