Item Description: 1975 pre-safety Winchester 94 30-30. I bought this as a project rifle. It was rusty when I purchased and have completely re-finished it. Metal was re-blued and wood stripped, re-stained and clear coated.
Bore is excellent, wood if very good, most metal is good, magazine tube and barrel bands are fair. Pitting ranges from light to moderate (see pics). Looks great from a couple of feet away, but not a beauty queen. Function is flawless.
All in all, it came out nice and is a very good hunting piece for wet weather or second rifle for a friend to use.
See third pic of magazine tube, which is the worst of the pitting. Replace it and the barrel bands and it would be very good cosmetically.
