The information below was taken from Gunboards.com. This was the first of many threads on several "Forums"suggesting that using these bullets for .303 Brit is a common practice.

A few years ago Wideners was selling pulled 147-grain 7.62x54R bullets... I use them for .303 plinking ammo. 45.0 grains of Reloader 15 gave me the most consistent and accurate results with these bullets in my Pattern 14 .303 (26 inch barrel, which is longer than an Enfield so muzzle velocity will be higher in the P14 than in an Enfield). Avg velocity of 2730, standard deviation of 10.53 (which is quite good) using Wolf Large Rifle Primers (which are very highly rated) and brass from a variety of manufacturers.
