Item Description:

***UPDATE***: Well, I've messed up boys and girls. I went and got a fun toy before the old toy sold. Counting my chickens and all that... Now, I need to get this out the door so I'm giving it my final price drop. As listed below and as seen in the pictures for $450. This should make the Mrs. stop scowling at me and I might even get out of the dog house... All of that being said, I can no longer add cash for trades and I've limited my trade options to something for her (parts for a 5.56 pistol). Thanks again for looking!

This is a Marlin Model 3084s Mountain Main Commemorative, JM Stamped 30-30 rifle. I've set this up as a multi-round hunting rig capable of using both traditional 150/170gr flat nose rounds and the Leverevolution hunting ammo from Hornady. It has Skinner rear peep and front blade sights zeroed at 100 for use with the 150/170's as well as a scout scope mount with detachable rings for use with a scout scope zeroed at 200 for the Leverevolution rounds. This set up lets you hunt field and forest equally well out to about 250 yards. In the interest of disclosure, the scope in the pictures is a cheap (but functional) scout scope that holds zero but you will probably want a better optic at some point.

I've also put on a nice leather field adjustable Latigo sling for carry and a hammer spur to speed up cocking time.

We are looking for a house and planning for another child so my hunting time is right out the window for the foreseeable future. I'm trying to consolidate calibers and get something that I can have fun with at the range (all I have time for anymore...).

Thanks for looking and have a good one,

Crowe
