I figured I'd need a good all weather rifle to hunt in the rain with a few years ago but have yet to even hunt in the sunshine. I think my hunting days may be over.
Soooo...What we have here is a fairly unused Savage rifle with all the goodies. It is all stainless and synthetic with the ever popular accutrigger, hinged floor plate and yes...it is floated/bedded from the factory. I shot it once back when it was new 12 times. Other than that one trip from vault to shooting deck and back, it has remained untouched.
The scope is a Bushnell Trophy XLT 4-12x40 AO with Butler Creek flipper lids. It sets firmly on Leupold rings mounted on the custom fit base plate that came with the rifle.
Rifle comes with original factory box, docs, lock and scope base. Rings and scope are available or can be excluded. It's a really nice match though. That silver deer skull looks great on a stainless/synthetic rifle.
