The SD9 is Smith's low-cost, home defense pistol. It's not fancy, and doesn't have a lot of features, but is intended as an affordable gun you could keep in the car or nightstand, 'just in case'.
A friend bought this new, but later on needed the cash more than the gun, so I bought it from him. The total round count is under 100 spread across two range sessions, and it comes with everything that came in the box from the factory.
As mentioned, this is not a fancy gun, but it is a good, reliable one from a major manufacturer. It's biggest flaw is the long, heavy trigger pull that releases with a very springy feel to it.
A lot of folks say it reminds them of a staple gun, and that's not too far off the mark. However it's an easy trigger to get used to, and after a few rounds I found it fairly easy to shoot accurately, kind of like switching over to a revolver.
The only trade I'm looking for right now is a Glock 21 (Gen 4). Also, the price for site supporters will be discounted $25 (if you aren't a supporter, don't ask for this, just join).
I'm available to meet later in the evenings on weekdays, and pretty much anytime on a weekend.
Meeting in metro ATL during the weekday is fine, but longer trips may have to be done on the weekends. I'm assuming a 50/50 split on driving.
