That is probably a Gen-2 rifle or at most a Gen-3. If it has the original pack you should note that.

Is the barrel threaded? Can the shroud be removed so a can could be installed?

The barrel is not threaded. I bought it to turn into an SBR and thread it myself, but I just never got around to it.
