Anyone using one? How does it pattern at different distances? Always been a 12g shooter, broke my shoulder a couple years ago and not a fan of the recoil
The patterning of the Mossberg SA-20 at different distances can vary depending on several factors such as the choke you're using, the type of ammunition, and your shooting style. However, from personal experience, i experience good patterns at 20 and 25 yards, and even up to 40 yards. One thing to keep in mind is that it may take some patience to get the gun fit correctly so you can see the top of the vent rib perfectly. But, with some adjustments, it's possible without needing to bend the stock.
If you're looking for recommendations on chokes that work well with the Mossberg SA-20, the Carlson's Cremator choke tube and the Carlson's Long Beard XR choke tube are both popular choices to look at.
