Sooooooooo my wife gets these ideas of things "she wants to make" for our lil girl soooooooo before "we" as in me run out to homedepot and buy a bunch of crap...

I have a few question(s)

1. have any of you built one of these for your kids, any do's or don'ts?

2. any one local have some of this stuff laying around?
(I promise I won't pawn it in a week after you donate it)

3. anyone have one local they would just sail, sell, sale?

4. any have a good divorce attorney? (joking)

& thanks a lot pinterest!

yeah, I made a couple.

Look around the house, there are bound to be things and do dads that aren't being used that can be and then reused.

Keep in mind that babies, like grown men, are easily amused. It doesn't have to look fancy or "professional". Shiny, and bright colors, with lots of textures, and reacts to manipulation (you know like women) will hold their attention longer. But the old joke about little kids being more interested in the box a toy comes in is very true.

Just avoid sharp edges and pinch points unless you want to have to fix booboos...

You could just stick the kid in front of the TV. lol.
