Yes, there is/was a small hollow place in the HS Precision stocks behind the buttpad that I filled with some cut down lead bars. It makes the rifle balance a lot better, in addition to reducing recoil. I didn't care if the rifle was heavy, I'm not toting it anywhere far. I'll have to weigh it...- 72thing
