    Edit: upon looking further, the Expanse doesn’t seem to have a dust cover, forward assist, or rear sight. That would definitely make me take the Smith.

    Well what’s he gonna use it for? Is it gonna sit in a safe and only come out to show off to friends? There are more Gucci options that will impress them more. Is he gonna be a one rifle man that trains and works it hard regularly? It’s good for that but there are better ones for the money...

  12. Suppresser recommendations for AR-15/ 5.56

    Been running a Griffin Armament Recce 5 for my dedicated 556 can for a couple years now with no issues. When I ordered it, it was one of the shortest and quietest cans in the market and has a taper mount system that’s pretty slick. There may be newer or better cans now, not sure. Still worth a look.
