I removed mine from the brine and have it sitting in the cage in the fridge. Figure I’ll let it sit until 7:30 then cook 3 hours and let it rest while we drive to the in-laws.
The brine I bought comes with a bag and requires 8 quarts of water. I put the bird in the bag and in the brine last night but the turkey isn’t covered. I have rotated it but wonder about submerging it

I have been using one of these for the past few years. I generally coat the turkey in oil and just rub seasoning under the skin and outside the skin. I put it in and cook and the last little while I put the top on to crisp it up. I think this year Im going to brine using "Brine some turkey".

Stevens single shot in bottomlands camo. This gun was purchased on a whim at Barrows in Butler and just doesn’t see as much use as we thought it would. My son has enjoyed it but not enough to justify. The gun has a screw in choke and a rail for a dot. This gun has some very light freckles.
I may or may not have racked the slide then dropped the mag and then pulled the trigger in my kitchen one morning. Thankfully the only damage was my pride and the french door. I was able to repair the door.
