It's an LT1 engine, it was installed in a 1995 Z28 from the factory. Only difference I have found is the vette's are 4 bolt mains, Z28's and Trans Am's have a two bolt main. Also, the corvette engine was advertised at a higher horsepower, but I don't know why. Maybe someone else can help...
I'm not sure if it is, but if it was, I would replace it. I was planning on putting the engine in my Tahoe, but I don't want to deal with the reverse flow change-over stuff. From what I have read, those opti sparks don't like water, and with a head gasket leak, I was not going to risk it...
