Smart kid. But he is generalizing and biased on a lot of the issues. The wealth and economic growth that made US the powerhouse of a nation is the result of economic/foreign policies that we made in the decades since WWII. It is unfair for people to enjoy the fruit of the labor and yet...
I've never owned a Glock. Shooting range rental and friends' Glocks is enough to know I don't want to buy one. Maybe I am one of the few but I don't find them appearing. IMO, M&Ps and XDs are just as reliable and you don't have to "learn to shoot them" and "get used to them".
i feel u, redterror. here's mine. i have red dot on it for now. higher power scope is on the way. also have the side rails but left them off since i don't have any light yet.
got a couple of 10 rd mags to go with the bipod and bench shooting.
The gas dial is fake and in black...
just a quick follow up. I finally decided on the SIG 522, instead of an AR style 22. Let me tell u what a beauty it is and its not like everyone has one. I have already ordered a bipod, 3-9x scope, and a MAGPUL angled fore grip. I am afraid that aSIG 556might not be too far away.
thanks...
I think the people have spoken. I will think about a 10/22. Watch a number of youtube reviews. they are very helpful. particularly nutnfancy. i handled one at the shop and found it to be light/easy to handle and very well made. apparently there are TONS of aftermarket stuff. BUT M&P 15-22 is...
Just want to be sure I am reading this right. Are you suggesting that the M&P15-22 will accept a 5.56 upper when I want to move up? I heard the opposite somewhere.
Thanks for all your feedback. Sounds like the GSG is not getting any love here. Most of you suggested a more traditional rifle, like a 10/22. I would assume the tactical variation. If I were going for the AR route, I might want to look into a .22 with a lower that would support a 5.56 later...
You guys are making too much sense! I need some bad influence to tell me to get the biggest and baddest avaiable. ;)
10/22 would be perfect but it lacks the cool factor, I guess. Any first hand experience with GSG-5? I've heard either really good reviews or really bad (fail to...
I have been a handgun guy and never got into long guns. My dad had some shotguns around for duck/quail hunting but it was never my thing. Now I am starting to think about getting into some rifles. But before I jump in, I thought it might be good to test the water a bit, before I full committ...
