    Well I've owned a 30, a 19, and a 36..and noticed the 30 has the frame of a subcompact, the slide length of a 19, but the slide width of a full size 20 or 21. It's a very odd breed. i honestly believe the 30S would've been even better had it used a 19-esqe frame, along with the 36's slide width.

    The G30 frame and G36 frame resemble each other too much for one to be considered a compact and the other a subcomp. Sure the 36 is slimmer and uses "single stack" mags, but the magwell on both guns have that cutout, and rely on the mag baseplate to give you a spot to place your pinky finger...
