  1. 30-06 Recipes

    Been using IMR4064, WLR primers, and 165 Game Kings for about 20 years now. Have yet to see a semi or bolt gun that didn't love this combo....and the deer hate it. :) The load that works for me is 48.7gr....but your milage may vary. Also had good luck with 150 Game Kings and 50gr.

    I've been shooting the Sierra GameKing 165gr SBT in 30-06 for 30+ years. Very good bullet IMHO. Accurate, great performance on game, and relatively inexpensive.

    I use the LEE trimmer(s). However, I chuck the shellholder in an old variable speed drill set to a slowish setting.

    Ebay is a good suggestion for that. They have a LOT of RCBS scales on there now.

    Thanks gents. Sounds like my money would be better spent on DVDs from AGI and such. At least on some of the guns I already have on hand that I like to "tinker" on.. I already have plenty of gun cleaning stuff and Blue Books.
