    That looks like a functional blade. I have made a few patch knives for blackpowdering. One trick you can use to disguise the epoxy is to mix a little flour in it.

    I know a guy who carries a P-3AT in an Uncle Mike's #1 pocket holster. He took a razor blade and opened up the stitching on top of the horizontal tab enough to fit in a spare mag. The spare mag also breaks up the outline.
