Basically Im looking for something higher powered than my 5.56 AR.
I have seen a few sporterized mosins that looked absolutely beautiful so I started thinking about going that route, especially given how cheap you can pick one up for.
That being said, I dont know much about bolt action rifles so...
Im more than likely moving to the area for a job and was hoping to find out some more about the area.
I noticed a good bit of gun shops up there which was cool and I know there are just acres and acres of woods, but are there many places to shot for those who dont own significant land?
Also...
Anyone not familiar with them they have been experimenting with 3d printing AR parts such as lower recievers and magazines.
I went to see if I could find some CAD files of some magazines and this pic was up
Seems kinda crazy, all if appeared to be was a forum for people who wanted to...
Their ammo wasnt that well prices last time I was there.
$10 for 100 rounds of 22LR that they were counting out into ziplock bags from a bucket-o-bullets.
Someone had them online the other day. AIM maybe? I almost bought one but didnt want to go through the FFL trouble.
Then I picked up my lower from a FFL the other day and realized how simple it was and now I regret not ordering one...
Good luck with the sale! They are definitely getting harder...
I assume you are in engineering?
I just graduated from Tech in December with my BS in Mechanical Engineering.
Solidworks is great, but Im using Inventor just because I got it free through school. A model of a .22 mag would be EXTREMELY helpful, but unless your just bored pics will be helpful...
