I prefer single stack as well. But it is nice not to have to load magazines as often while at the range. Plus you can kill more zombies with less magazines. Plus its exactly the same width as a single stack which is even better. So you get all the benefits and non of the disadvantages.
I have a Nighthawk Custom built by Larry Vickers of Vickers Tactical (yes mine was a production Nighthawk that I had LAV do). I have around $5000 in the gun and I carry it everyday. Pistols are tools. Mine just cost more than most!
