    It was huge. Atleast 150 yards long. Maybe 20 or so high. I was a good 300 yards off from it when I saw it. And I didn't go to the point where it was hovering. I was in a truck.

    It was at night. It was a dark color and it had lights running around the bottom of it. Like a reddish color. I heard absolutely nothing. And I cant remember any smells.

    Personally speaking, I was raised into a family who cleans our own deer. I find field dressing a deer pointless unless I have a mile or longer drag back to the truck. I'll just suck it up and drag the deer however far. But I highly recommend processing your own deer. Just adds to the tradition...
