Shoots same poi for me in Glock as Federal 115. I used it in a pretty high speed instructor class some time back and shot out with a perfect score. If you're shooting past 50 yards I can't advise, but it's gtg at least that far. 1200 rounds without mishap that week.

Excellent condition big bore rifle with box. It shoots great with Hornady factory ammunition. The setup is just not for me, and I’m looking to trade for a .308 or similar. There is one in my local shop for $600, so the price is good. I’m in the Columbus/ Harris County area, and will meet halfway...
Much appreciated, we shoot a lot of 45 ACP 200 grain semi-wadcutters out back. It makes the steel dance significantly more than a 9. I never wanted 45 pcc’s until the arm brace stuff started. Now if we get favorable decisions, I’ll have to get a couple “just cause”.
If you shoot it with a can and get the chance to rattle off any hot 185’s or 200’s, it would be interesting to know if they are still hearing safe. I would bet no on the 185’s, but that is just an educated guess.
I’ve shot several deer with handguns, normally as the result of someone else’s screwup prior to my arrival, a limited number with a shotgun, and many with a rifle while hunting myself. I also process my own deer and sometimes the ones that I find for other people due to processors being closed...
Oh no, I was wrong. Not the best friend’s uncle, just a cousin. 45 Auto is still underpowered compared to modern center fire rifle and magnum handgun rounds, especially the big bores. I didn’t notice any relevant remarks on tracking distances or DRT percentages. How many did he admit to loosing?
45 Auto just doesn’t have much sectional density or speed, no “standard” handgun rounds do. You can, but I wouldn’t use it for deer. A .223 is MUCH more powerful and people bash it for hunting constantly. I know everyone’s best friend’s uncle kills them dead every year DRT with a .22 short from...

What did you do about the safety? I would like to use a swing type safety Model 70 style, but I don’t have a mill. Anyone know of one that doesn’t require machining the bolt? What have y’all done on your projects? @Dan Muk ?
I have a large ring 7x57 German produced Mauser, still wearing the military configuration, that has been tapped and the bolt turned down professionally that I can't seem to trade for something that I will use. The stock would refinish nicely after being steamed, cut, and shaped. With all of...
