I picked up some 457 mags recently from a retailer. Prices were good and they shipped on time. I had considered ordering direct but (I think it was the 10 round) had the wrong SKU on it on the web page. Didn't feel like getting the wrong mag.

For the price, the old RAR v1s shot great. I only own a 300 BLK, but I've shot a number of chamberings. The only 'meh' thing was the cheap and nasty lightweight stocks, but they function fine.
I've dry-fired a v2, and the trigger felt a bit better. Stock was better too.

Greg certainly deserves everyone's business. He's managed to supply me with a couple of weird mags I was looking for, and when he couldn't he helped me find some elsewhere.
The other thing is that if you're making five or six cups, there's a fair amount of volume of liquid, so it won't cool as quickly.
While @buellbrewer has proper insulated presses, a 'normal' borosilicate glass press will keep the coffee pretty hot for those minutes, especially if you preheat...
