    I thought the blueing on this model was real blueing, not CZ polycoat. Gonna have to pull mine out and give it a look. They sure shoot nice. Better than any of my 1911's, except maybe the 38 super. Oops, never mind. You the black polycoat model, not the blue one. My misread.

    Is it possible you have a bad extractor? I've got several Stars and Firestars, all with no ejection problems, including 3 9mm's, but it is one of the few things with which they have a rep for problems. Or I so I've heard. Maybe worth a look?
