This is a pretty old thread and we added a survival forum since it was made. Are people suggesting we expand survival into its own category with different sub forums?
Looking for some advice on "emergency food." I want to buy something that has a bunch of different stuff in it and will last forever, kind of an all in one type kit. Maybe something from Wise? Is their stuff any good?
My plan is to buy one or two a month for a while until I have a one or two...
Use electric tape as a bandage on your fingers when you're out working. It's amazing. I swear I could cut off my finger and electric tape it back on and go back to work. It's also really good to use on a cut when taking a shower.
And the tobacco on a bee sting remedy does work!
I used one set on the rear wheels. I'm gonna order a spare set in case these ever break in the future.
I'm betting I'll get another chance to use them this year considering how cold it has been.
After the last snow storm we had I was stuck in my driveway for five days and swore that I would never be stuck again. I eventually sold my two wheel drive truck, got a 4 wheel drive truck, and ordered a set of snow chains.
I have to say that the snow chains are the best $90 I have ever spent...
I like it a lot, and really like it for $25 if you can find that sale ever again.
