Sig MPX. Shoots suprisingly well with the right red dot and the 30 round mags make it a better choice than most pistolas. Plus can one hand it when you need the other.
This thread reminds me of equations in college that were near impossible to solve. Too many variables. Think the best solution is individual preparedness with a plan to protect the ones you love. Nothing else matters.

If you're doing Land Nav, go with a lensatic type. The army navy stores usually carry decent ones under $20, unless you want a GI spec tritium which will cost 3 to 4 times more. Used these for Land Nav and SAR training and did just fine.
