I think due to indigo snakes being endangered and them frequenting gopher tortoise holes, this has been considered a no no (gasoline that is). It's pretty neat to see a indigo make live lunch out of a rattlesnake, they don't constrict so it's far from an enjoyable experience for the rattler.
