If you never, ever plan on running your can wet, rocksett will work. Doing so will push water (or gel, etc) everywhere that water can possibly be pushed. Eventually, it will come apart again.

I went with a Samson rail. They work with standard barrel nuts, are fairly inexpensive, and are a good bit narrower while still clearing most cans.
The P226 is the quietest that I've tried. I strongly prefer striker-fired guns, so the G17 is my favorite option.
