    Just finished L'Amour's Sitka. Not his best but I liked it.

    Reading Another Mans War. Guy goes to Africa to do some missionary roofing work and sees first hand the LRA attacking villages, slaughtering the adults and enslaving the children. He ends up picking up his own AK, forming a small force and fighting against them for over 10 years. True story.

    Reading Cormac McCarthy's Border Trilogy. Finished with All the Pretty Horses. It was great, classic McCarthy. Have just started The Crossing and in the first chapter it really seems like its going to be something very, VERY good.

    Just finished re reading James Clavell's King Rat. Read it 20 years ago and found a copy at a local store. Very good book. Just started Cormac McCarthy's Border Trilogy that starts with All The Pretty Horses. I loved McCarthy's The Road and No Country For Old Men.

    Yea, half way through in 2 days... granted 2 slow days but still. Should have it finished in a few more.

    Picked up a copy of The Walking Drum the other day at a local book store. Yea, its gonna be good. Just started.

    Just finished Unbroken. It was pretty good. I havnt watched the movie yet but I hear its OK.

    Finished The Purification Ceremony, wow great book and highly recommended. Read it in less than a week.

    Just finished Manse by Wilton Earle It was OK, a book based on the life and local folk storys about Manson Jolly a Civil Wars cavalry scout that returns home to Anderson SC after the war. In the middle of "reconstruction", federal occupation, the rise of the KKK and a little bit of a love story...
