Confused. If this is a wild hog no need to bleed. Have been hunting them for years and never bleed them out. I usually quarter them up and put in ice. Drain the water daily and add more ice as necessary. I do this for 3-7 days before taking to the processor.
Countrys best in Jeffersonville will process if quartered up and in a cooler. Ground is $1 a lb. and sausage is $1.50 I believe. If not quartered I believe game grinders in Kathleen will do it.
Thanks and I agree. As soon as I find some room in the house the shield is gone and a old fence post with some barbwire and a no hunting sign is going up.

Ocmulgee WMA and Oaky woods WMA are both in Houston county. Anywhere you can go close to the Ocmulgee river. Oaky woods is eat up with Hogs you just need to hook up with someone familiar with the area.
