    The only gun of mine I ever shot was a Marlin 60 that either stove piped or smashed the next round after a successful round. Stuck in a tree a blasted it with a 10/22.

    I have come to find out that if you're just meat hunting... you can just about take a dump at your stand and get a deer. Maybe I'm just in a good spot :noidea:

  17. Nailed it this morning..

    I had it sighted in with the broadheads last year and they were shooting just a hair higher than the practice tips. That's why I hadn't shot with them this year. Couldn't find my practice tips from last year , so I went and got new/wrong ones.

    After looking at my practice tips , I see the reason I was high. 125 gr practice tips and 100 gr broadheads are gonna be a lil different :doh: grabbed the wrong ones. Should have took a few practice shots with the broadheads. I still would have hit the tree...just lower.

    Nailed a small oak this morning. Nice little 8 point was behind it too. Would have been high anyway. At least I got my arrow back.
