Put it out today. Overlooking a powerline that’s used as a travel route on the private land I hunt. I have almost fallen asleep several times in that chair!

I’ve had deer come in very close to the blind and other times spooked them. Difference was setting up the blind weeks before the hunt if possible. I believe they can get used to seeing it.
I got turned around a couple times over the years in the AM. Now I use those reflective thumbtacks and the rope that you connect to from ground to stand has reflective stuff in it too.
My problem with the spitfires is they have to be really sharp. Fly great to POA but I lost two deer over the past couple of years. Initial good blood trail then it dries up. Other times with brand new blades full pass thru lots of blood and dead within less than 75 yds using crossbow. All shots...
