    I was thinking a foothold trap around the hole, or leave the dead chicken where you found him and place a foothold there…That is, if it’s a spot on the property where the dog doesn’t roam. You could always tie up a chicken in the woods and use it for bait.

    Had 10 deer out back this morning, including a pretty nice 10 point I’ve seen several times this year. I want my son to shoot him but he has not been able to get on him fast enough the couple of times he has seen him. I hope that buck makes it to next year. He is going to be a real nice one.

    11/3 Deer Hunt

    We are on Hightower Trail, the only driveway on the left before you get to 278. Halfway between Social Circle and Rutledge. There has always been big deer around here. Saw 4 does this evening. Hoping to get our buck in the morning.

    I like the club for getting away. For me the camp is half of the hunting experience. I am looking forward to getting my 9 year old down there. I want him to experience the deer camp. I only wish there were more kids in our camp.
