    Nice, where in Talbot? It’s been weird for me, our property appears to have become the nursery. I’ve seen close to 20 babies and zero adults. A mile down the road bucks are chasing does in open pastures along the road.

    I’d stay in the stand. Last season I had three deer walk past me at different times and a couple minutes later they would start blowing and come running back past me again. They were smelling something, but I don’t think it was me. Ended up seeing about 6 or 7 more after that.

    I forget the exact year but I was in my early 20’s in the early 2000’s bow hunting on a Gallo vineyard in Paso Robles, CA. Small buck taken at 43 yards with a Mathews SQ2.

    I got ours done this past weekend and most were just dust bowls. It’s been getting soaked most of the day today, hopefully it’s it’s just a steady rain and not a gully washer.
