depends on how good the shooter is. .22 was cheap before covid and i've got more than i'll shoot for a long time. i think i have some remington i bought back in the 80's sitting around somewhere.

i'm leaning more toward 100 inches too. can't decide about the age, though. if i could see a shot of his full body from the side it would help. 3-1/2 at the most and i'm leaning toward 2-1/2 without better pictures.
