Actually i don't care about mounts or racks at all( on deer anyway) I'm one of the hunt for meat crowd. Culling out bad genetics has been proven to work time and time again. Taking doe's out of a population is the sure fire way to reduce the population. Taking bucks doesn't harm the population at all, deer aren't monogamous animals. 1 buck will easily breed 18 or more doe's. Which is also another reason to "cull" a population of inferior bucks. In my opinion people that run around and buy hundreds of thousands of rounds a week are the ones CAUSING the shortage. The shortage would be over in less than a month( would have been over months ago) if it weren't for these gougers. Their creating a shortage then marking up the price and...- vernon.45
