Thanks for the replies - I do need to load multiple calibers, but I don't usually change calibers in a single loading session - does the whole setup need to be re-tweaked after every caliber change in order to work reliably?
A D550 is hard to justify for me right now, but they are very nice.
Considering purchasing one. I currently load on a single-stage Lee. Been advised that much tinkering and frustration awaits me with the load master. I've seen lots of vids and read reviews that seem to indicate the Lee is a good press once a good setup is achieved, but would like to hear from...
I had a fistful of these on my last batch of 223 reloads. Tried them in a friends press, who was using different brand dies. I was using Lee dies in a Lee press, I think he had RCBS in his Dillon. Every one of the ones I couldn't get into my Lee shell holder slid right into the RCBS shell holder...
This looks like a low cost quick way to trim, though I'd use a drill without a hammerdrill feature to reduce end play:

I put a little Flitz in my last batch - cut tumbling time in half with 3 pea-sized daubs. Not sure what dryer sheets do to help, but I saved a couple to cut up and add in next time as well.
To be clear, I meant I hoped the bullets would better, not the member replies - when I returned to this thread, I realized it could be read differently :embarassed:
Vdub & Clark - thanks that's good info there, I'll see what I can find!
Thanks for the replies, I was hoping they would be better. Looking at the pics, Berry's seem like good ones as compared to the XTP's - There is a huge difference between Berry's & XTP's design and like Powerbonds HP's.
Powerbond definitely look like range rounds:

Powerbond...
They've had them on their website for a long time, but never seen any...And of course now, nobody is seeing much of anything from them right now but, Has anyone ever seen their hollow points?
Do the steel media often get stuck in the primer holes or pockets? I saw a youtube of that setup and was impressed with how clean the pockets come out. The guy was picking what looked like twisted steel pins out of a few of the cases. And then there is the drying time...
I just use a Harbor...
