I did a chamber test to the remaining rounds and measured several and they measured .355 at the top of the brass.
I will run them across the scale to see if there is a big difference in any.
I never had a jacketed hollow point sqib before so would the difficulty removing be normal?

New barrel and just wondered if it was done correctly? New experience for me!
I did get the slug out but it was not budging with force! Drill was needed.
.002 or 2 thousands of a inch doesn't seem like much but it is. I usually only keep .355 and I can load both 38, 9, and 357mag with...
Years ago I got a bunch of .357 hollow point projectiles. I resized some of them with a .355 resizing die and loaded them into 9mm cases.
At the range the other day I was shooting them and had a few roads that felt and sounded hotter than the others. Didn't think much of it as it happens with...
$30 bucks for 50 is about the going price for 38 spec.
only other option would be to just put a primer in a 38 casing. Then somehow crimp it to be safe. The crimping of the casing will be the trick.
No worries, we all do make them. With the new rounds coming out 350 legend and such I was making sure I didnt miss a 45acp duplication that takes lpp and spp depending on the case manufuture for the 357.
All is good
Loaded 100 44 mag
Loaded 35 44 spec (hand)
Loaded 30 357mag (hand)
When I say Hand I am using a reload kit. It is slower and you can get in a good rythm. I am reloading mainly 38spec, 44 mag 44spec and 357mag
Got enough 45s loaded for a long time and I can buy 9mm for reloading costs...
I have a 35 Remington and the scarceatity of ammo for it I am seriously debating on reloading for the 35. Its Not something that is rushed right now yet something for later maybe.
This is the kit,
My father had this one and I finally sat done long enough to figure it out and load some 44mag!
I have a newer version for 357mag as well.
I will stay the priming of cases was the toughest, i ended up cheating and used a hand primer.
Alot of reloaders are bailing from what I have noticed!
Primers 125ish
Powder 50ish
Bullets 100ish give or take.
So with thoose numbers your looking at roughly 27 cents a round! If you can only use 1 pound of powder if you need more than a pound per 1k then 33 cents a round.
The math to...
Lever action Rifle or a contender. Hate to say it but i dont think the light strikes are caused by the ammo.
Try primers in empty brass to figure the culprit out
Finished Reloading another 500 rounds of 9mm start months ago depriming and priming cases by hand as that strp gives my progressive press hell!!
